J'adore Paris ... D1

OOooOOoooOOo La la!!! We've arrived in Paris at last!!! It was something that I was really looking forward to. Mind you, we had to drive all the way from Birmingham to Paris! (NOTE: there are a few other entries that are missing before this one, but the pictures were in the sony computer and its hard to transfer them ... so I show this entry first ok Photobucket )

Oh yes! Be WARNED!!! These next few entries has like ... GAZILLION amount of PICTURES!!! hahahahah too bad people. Photobucket I am a Cam*&^% afterall!!! Photobucket hahahahaha Photobucket

We finally arrived at our Hotel at 5pm. It was soo late. It has been raining since we stepped on the French soil, so I was quite scared to drive very fast. Both me and Mozard took turns driving. Mind you it was tiring!!! Besides the heavy rain does not help AT ALL!!

The rain did not dampen my spirits. Somehow, Allah helped me. When we reached the hotel .. it stopped raining! Can you believe it? So we rushed out to go to Paris city. The hotel was quite a ways out of Paris. Shucks! So we had to take the bus then the tube to go to downtown. Looking at the time, we had time only to go to Louve. We reached Louve at 6.30pm. This was the view that we got just as we got out of the tube station .........

I wish I had more time to slowly go through all the buildings, walk the streets, explore everything. But we had very little time. Very little indeed.

This is the walkway that leads to the center of Louve. OoooOOoooOOo soo beautiful. Such beautiful architecture. Such beautiful details.

We did get a small glimpse of what's inside Louve. Check it out! Look at that!!!! All those sculptures, soo beautiful. I think I would definately come again and spend the WHOLE day in Louve. That would be a dream come true. I think the next time around, I am going to re-read Da Vinci's Code and highlight all the places, paintings and what not and follow the footsteps marked in the book. OOooooOOOoo that would be exciting! Maybe I should read to Yana the book so that she'd get excited about it too... hmmmmmmmmmm something to consider .....

Then we reached the center! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was HUGE! It was BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! Such magnificence and beauty ... I know now why people fuss about it alot! Its really something else. I have traveled rather extensively, especially in America, but I think the best thing about Europe is its authenticity. All those beautiful castles, mansions and architecture. You feel as if you're just lost in time.

Zafier was soo fascinated with the fountains. Yup! that little boy LOVES the water! Soo cute. Running around looking at the water!

Then we realize that people were entering the building. So, apa lagi! masuklah! It was even more beautiful on the inside! Gosh! They really spend alot of time building these huge huggggeeeeeeeeee buildings! Its like another city inside it. Sooo besar. I don't know how some people could finish Louve in one day! I think it would take me more time than that. I just love to relax and suck in all the beauty around me.

Then we reached the Lady Magdalene Tomb .. (that's the theory in the Da Vinci's Code book haha). Its amazing that they just let people climb and do all sort of things there. I guess partly to prove that the theory is wrong hahah! If its really a tomb then its not proper to have people and children climbing all over it ... init??!!??

I can see why they say Paris is such a romantic city! theres soo many beautiful things here. Buildings are beautiful, the little cafe's around the streets facing all these beautiful buildings and monuments. Sigh! I am such a hopeless romantic! I think I would have to come back here with just me and Mozard haha! Its hard to be romantic when you have kids running about and Zafier screaming at you for attention. Sigh! I have such a demanding little boy!

That night, we had trouble looking for food! Yup! the food is expensive!!! SERIOUSLY!! Luckily we earn UK currencies. If not .. memang MATI! Then on top of that, when we reached the tube station, we found out that the bus stops at 10pm. It was 10.30. So we had to paid 15 euros for a cab! GRRRRRRRRRRRR .. oh well .. I guess the time we had at the Louve was worth it! WORTH every penny I spend. We were soo tired. Tomorrow have to wake up to go to Disneyland! WWWWWWWooooooooooooo HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
