Warwick Castle

We got free tickets to go to Warwick Castle.. all thanks to Saiful. We also invited Ika to join us. I was really excited to go. I love Warwick Castle, its really a beautiful castle, but its too expensive to go. Usually, we get buy one free one for the tickets but this time it was TOTALLY FREE! WOOOT!! We got there at 12. Yeah .. we had to leave late coz Mozard had to work and Alicia (Saiful's daughter) had to go to her swimming class.
Anyhoo, it was a beautiful day! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Not cold and yet there was no sun! my perfect weather! hehe! Me no likey sun! haha!

Since all of us have been to the castle once, we just concentrated on the events of the day. Warwick castle have loads of activities throughout the day, Sword fights, Jousting, Actings, Eagle show, parade, and catapoult show. Since it was lunch time, we all had a nice picnic by the castle .. eating jacket potatoes with Tuna and mayo! (not delicious .. so people .. bring food if you want to visit this place!)

I think the kids were the ones that was really having a blast. They were running all over the place. Playing chase with each other .. and once a while with the poor peacock. Its amazing how those birds could tolerate such rombunctious kids! Sigh! Zafier was really enjoying himself. For once he gets to play with kids his age.

I was having fun playing with Adina. Hehe she is soo cute!!! Baik betul! Habis I picit picit dia! hahahahah!

I know I know some of you might be thinking .. go buat anaklah! :P NOPE! I like the position that I am in right now. Now I can play with little babies all I like and when they cry .. I just pass them back to their mommies. heheheh ok or not?? hahaha! Can't wait to go back to Malaysia and play with Arina! OOoooOOoooOOOoo I am soo going to bully that little baby! hahahahaha!
Then we went to another part of the castle to watch the Jousting show.

Anyways, we had a good view of the jousting tournament .. coz we were on the hill on the other side of the river.

After the show, we walked along the river side along side the castle. There was a mill .. and a beautiful scenery of the river.

Then we went back to the same spot to watch the catapoult (trebuchet .. thats what they called it) show.

After the show, Ika had to leave coz she had some prior engagement with the penghulu of Conventry. We stayed on with Saiful to have a tour of the Warwick Gardens. Then zafier, yana and alicia got little swords .. (it was expensive I tell you .. sigh! but what can I say .. kids just love their little toys). Alicia and Zafier were having loads of sword fights .. cool init .. sword fight at a castle .. hehe!

The castle garden was quite small. There were only a small patch of plants and the rest is just open spaces.

We also met other Malaysian there, two chinese couples living around London. So while the kids play, we sat and chat with them.

Time really flies when you're having fun. Suddenly it was 6.30pm and we had to leave. I was not happy. I was hoping to spend more time there. I really like lepaqing there! I really do! If there's ever a nice day .. maybe we'll go there again one of these days. Before the voucher expires.
